Season Run Leaders

Season leaders cover every match

Season leaders come from the provider's season figures, which cover every match of the season, not only the tracked ones. They count games of 60 minutes or more, and a player needs 5 such games to be ranked.

Per 30 minutes with the ball

Off-ball runs and passes are counted per 30 minutes of the player's team having the ball, as the provider publishes them, so players on teams that keep the ball more don't rank higher for that alone.

What counts as a run

An off-ball run is the provider's: a player without the ball moving above 15 km/h for at least 0.7 seconds while their team has it. A run is dangerous when it ends where the ball would carry real threat, and found when a pass reaches the runner.

The top ten on each off-ball run measure, per 30 minutes with the ball.

Run Types by Position

Run types by position

Every off-ball run in the tracked matches counts once, under the position the player had in that match's lineup. Each position's runs add up to 100%, split over the provider's 10 run types; the bubble's area shows the share. Goalkeepers are left out. "Through round" adds up every tracked match up to that round, finals included.
